More Human Than Human

London-based Ron Mueck is a photo-realistic sculpture that puts Madame Tussaud to shame. He started out making props and models for television and film (including Labyrinth) and later turned to hyper-realistic, often massive sculptures of humans. He uses fiberglass resin to achieve the realistic look of the skin. The sculptures freak me out a bit but at the same time I can't look away.
