For Gullible Babies Only
Straight from the text book for Bad Parenting 101 comes the Zaky Infant Pillow. Why hold your baby yourself when you can buy creepy plush muppet arms to do it for you? According to the Pregnancy Store, "The Zaky is an ergonomic infant pillow designed by a mom to mimic the size, weight, touch, and feel of her hand and forearm to help her baby with comfort, support, protection, and development." Or instead of designing such a pillow, said mom could try actually holding her own child! I don't know, am I being too harsh? I mean it's not like I'm a mother so what do I know, right? But come on, look how unsettling that picture is: disemboddied hand stumps? I think it was the tag line that did it for me: It's Like Leaving a Part of You with Your Baby. Ew.

I suppose it could be useful if the mother (or other caregiver) is trying to do household chores and wants to keep the baby calm.
Um...yeah, still totally weird looking though.
Waaaaaaaay too weird, I think that would creep my kid out.
Good find Sharelle!

I agree. My kid would wake up and freak out. Then if I continued using it I can imagine him pushing my real hand away in favor of the "Freak Hand".
