Google Me
Googlism is a site that will tell you what Google really thinks of you, or anyone (or thing) else for that matter. Simply enter your name (or someone else's) and Googlism will generate a list of things Google is telling the world about you. For example, when I look up Sharelle, I find that Google thinks I'm:
- a 15 year old girl
- currently undertaking a PhD through the UNSW researching in the area of supply chain management
- an experienced management consultant
- currently working as head of office for the Norwegian refugee council in Prizren
- the best ever
- not amused
...amongst other things. I don't think any of those are actually refering to me, except maybe for the "best ever" part. Sure, I know the program is just searching Google for "sharelle is *" and displaying random results in a list, but it's fun anyway. Jerk.

awwww yeah...
What happened to your cool background?! I thought it was a lot more fun (and unique)...bring it back!
Sorry, I wasn't talking about you in particular Dave! I hope you weren't offended.
As for the background...too many people didn't like it. Some of the comments I got were (and I quote):
- "a little bit of eye cancer"
- "That's a background that will crawl off your computer and go harrass small children in your neighborhood in the dead of night"
- "i want to rip out my eyes"
So not too positive on the whole. But you're not the first to ask about it (unless you're Jen Cutts). Anyone else want me to bring it back?
i know but why 'jerk'? it's odd in the same way sometimes i'll just call someone something like that for no reason.
did you have a reason and i'm just not getting it?
