Manhattan Timeformations is an interactive Flash site that uses "layers of urban information" to create a digital render of the Manhattan infrastructure. You can fly through the different layers, view them in chronological order or have a look at a cross section of Manhattan to see how the geological, communication, transportation and real estate infrastructures relate to one another. Neat, but why does it always have to be New York?
